The hard work of the animal community paid off. Orange Bone Pet Store on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood, CA opened their doors to Los Angeles Animal Control and the dogs up for adoption at the local shelters.
The owner of the Orange Bone said this is the right thing to do. He realizes that selling puppies from puppy mills isn't a nice thing to do and is now going humane.
We thank him for what he has done and hope that other petstores follow suit.
Do not buy when shelter dogs die!
Adopt don't shop!!!!!!
This is another victory for the hard working people that are commited to helping the suffering of the mom and dads stuck at these terrible puppymills!!!
Thanks Elle Wittelsbach founder of Strangest Angels Rescue for taking the picture of Kris Kelly and all of her hard work protesting against puppy mills and rescuing the really tough cases from the local shelters. |
